Bright Lights

Yeah, okay, dumb name for a first post, but whatever. The family says they never know whats going on, so I said “Screw it” and went back to having a blog. It can be a pain to keep updated, but I plan to do so as often as I can, even if it means setting up remote blogging. Hopefully, the family won’t be able to say “We don’t know what is going on with you” anymore just because I work nights! One can hope, right?

I also setup Twitter. That way I can update the clan on the fly. Admirable quest, right? I don’t know yet.

I’m starting work on redesigning my entire site. I know what I want, but I’m not exactly sure how to get it into reality. The internet is really quickly moving away from HTML (of which I enjoy) to basically BEING the GUI of the OS. Alas, I see the day coming where we start our computers and we’re immediately taken to our browser of choice. Typing in “Desktop” will take us to a custom, flash integrated desktop. While it would be cool, it is still going to be sad.
